In this project, we studied and recorded the relationship between site and construction method by visiting Hijauan Saujana Condominium, Grandville, and 8 Suria Office Boutique Tower.
At Hijauan Saujana Condominium, we learned about the external work, pilling process, foundation work, excavation and form work.
At Grandville, we learned about the construction of brick work, brick wall, floor, and staircase.
At 8 Suria, Office Boutique Tower, we learned about the roofing, wall finishes, toilet finishes, and some scaffolding.
All in all, we learned about the construction process, health and safety of the workers and the management of the construction team.
- Produce a complete documentation (pictures, sketches and drawing) and analysis of construction elements
- Understand and explain construction elements and its components.
- Understand current construction technology on local construction sites
- Explain current material and technology in relevance to present construction industry
